Kara celebrated her very first Easter this Sunday. Kara also was 2 months old on Easter!!! I can't believe it. Two months have gone by so quickly. Kara went to a lot of church services during Holy Week! Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, and the three of us went to the Easter Vigil service for the first time. It was a cool service (long though). The first half of the service was like a Lenten service, then the second half the Alleluia's return, and it's more like an Easter service. Dan was on his spring break the week before Easter so it was really nice to have him home all week with us :) I'm going back to school on Monday, so I'm trying to enjoy the few days I have left home with Kara. I'm sure I'll be more anxious for summer than I have been in a while! Dan and I even went on our first "date" post-baby during his break. Kara stayed home with a babysitter for the first time! We've also been continuing to improve our house. We painted the bathroom upstairs that was previously a very ugly purple. We're SO glad that's gone! Dan removed the nice floral wallpaper, put in a new medicine cabinet, and a new light fixture. And Kara's starting to do more than just eat, sleep, and poop :) She's been playing more, smiling more, talking all the time, and even rolling herself over. She rolled herself over a couple of times about 3 weeks ago, but usually only when she's rather upset. She rolled herself over yesterday twice, but we didn't get to see those ones. She woke up from a nap, and was flipped over when we went to get her. Kara is so much fun! We have such a good time with our little girl! We are so blessed!

Here begins the pictures of the diaper blow out. There I was just feeding her, and little did I know there was an explosion happening in Kara's pants. As you can see from the looks on our faces (and the pictures) it was NOT a pleasant experience.
